Kid Mohair – Why It Matters

Not all mohair is the same. The CLAUDIA is knitted from 50% Mohair Super Kid — the finest grade of mohair available, sourced from young Angora goats. Kid mohair fibres are exceptionally fine, which means they sit softer against the skin than standard mohair and produce a lighter, more delicate halo effect. Combined with 18% extrafine merino wool for structure and 32% polyamide for durability, the blend delivers both luxury and longevity.

Hand wash inside out in cool water (30°C) using a mild detergent, or dry clean. Lay flat to dry — never hang mohair as it stretches under its own weight. With proper care, kid mohair softens further with each wash and maintains its halo for years.
